This morning I caught a video of Olivia playing with her shadow! So cute!
Rearranging the pillows and more shadow play...
Shadow Excitement!
After some breakfast and playtime, Olivia decided to relax with a bottle. I held her for a little bit and then she wanted to get down and lie down on her pillows...
Last night Olivia was having playtime with Daddy and
he taught her how to climb on his back and take a horsey ride!
This week our friends Jon & Cat Watkins and their two girls moved to Virginia! We became friends when we were all stationed in California but we are all also from the same area in Ohio. It had been two years since we were last all together and we are so excited to be close again! They are staying with us for a few days while they house hunt and the girls are becoming fast friends! Jordan Lee, 3 Years
Olivia Scarlet, 13 Months Hanging Out :)
Look! Two Miekos! And it was a good thing we had two!
On Friday night we left Ohio around 9:45p to make the trip back to VA after a wonderful holiday vacation. Olivia is so active now that it much easier for her (and us!) if we drive through the night so she can sleep. She did great and slept the whole way...just rousing a bit for a bottle and then snoozing away. Here are some pix from our first day home...
Olivia eating her breakfast and excited to share with Kojak! She was very happy to see her dogs!
Yum...cinnamon raisin toast and scrambled eggs...
Now for some play time...Olivia was sure she could fit in the little box...she was right!
Olivia wanted to play with her coat so I helped her put it on. Then she picked up her play keys but when we didn't head for the door she decided to play with her new horse (Thanks Kate & Steph!). She is starting to figure out how to ride it but as you can see she easily gets distracted!
Today was a relaxing day of eating, sleeping, and playing and as you can see...bath took us from one pair of pajamas to the next! Thanks to Uncle John John & Auntie Heather and Maw Maw & Grandaddy for the wonderful new PJ's!
