Olivia enjoys our new carrier too! I saw on the carrier's site that they sell baby carriers for kids to wear for their babies and I thought "that seems silly" We hadn't even had the new carrier more than a week and Olivia wanted to use it! I guess the company might be on to something :)

Diaper Fun!

So, a couple weeks ago my friend Calise and I were chatting about diapers. She's planning on cloth diapering her little one who is coming in July and I started asking questions. I had momentarily thought about a it before Zachariah was born when I received a cloth diaper as a present (Thanks Tatjana :) However, I didn't really know where to start and it just didn't seem like something I wanted to "deal" with...poopy diaper washing! eehh! Then I learned that there is a diaper sprayer you can attach to your toilet...this was a turning point for me~lol! 

So I started my searching and learning about the cloth diapering world, and when I say world, it's true! There's so much to learn, including all the lingo...really more like a foreign language~ lol! But after a few days of reading and asking questions, it all started to simplify in my mind and I was ready to try. I found a couple of cloth diaper "trial" programs to figure out what I like and what works for us. 

You have your prefolds, covers, pocket diapers, All-in-Ones (AIO), AI2, Hybrid, Hemp inserts, microfiber inserts, bamboo inserts, suedecloth, minky, micorfleece, snappies and then the fun diaper brands like Fuzzibunz, bumgenius, tweedlebugs, thristies, Softbums, Bummis, Kawaii, Grovia & Happy Heiny's just to name a few...

We are expecting more in the mail in the next couple of days so I will update you! But we seem to be off to a good start. Definitely something we're gonna stick with!
