He's Here!!!

Zachariah Luke Honaker has arrived!!!

7 lbs. 13 oz., 21 inches long

Sarah started having regular contractions about 8 minutes apart Tuesday night around 11p. at 2:45a when contractions were 4-5 minutes apart we headed to the hospital. When we arrived at the hospital around 3a Sarah was dilated to 5 cm. Around 4:45a Sarah's water broke on its own and she was dilated to 9cm. After some strong contractions and 15 minutes of pushing Zachariah was born at 5:39a! Everything went very well and Mommy and Baby are very healthy! We arrived home Friday around 1p and will have many more pictures and updates soon!!!

Another Baby Update

Today was another doc appointment and here we are...

3cm Dilated

50% Effaced

Next doc appointment 10/04/2010

Scheduled to be induced 10/07/2010 (41 weeks)

Praying for Zachariah to come soon!

Baby Update

So...here it is...our latest info...

We had a check up yesterday and Sarah is 1 1/2 centimeters dilated and 50% effaced. We had some follow up test at the hospital including a Neonatal Stress Test, Bio-Physical Profile and a Contraction Stress Test. After that they decided to keep us at the hospital and monitor Zachariah for the night to make sure he was able to handle the contractions Sarah was having (these weren't really hard contractions). So, this morning the doc reviewed all the test results and said that everything looked really good and they sent us home. It is a praise that we can continue to wait for Zachariah to come on his own. Thank you for your prayers!

37 week sonogram

Today we got to enjoy a sonogram of our new little one! The doctor wanted to get an estimate of how much Zachariah might weight...and I do mean estimate! The sonogram can only determine the weight +/- a pound! That's a lot in baby weight! So...the estimate is...6lbs. 8oz...while this may seem to be a nice weight currently with figuring in +/- a pound and gaining 1/2 pound a week that takes us to an...

Olivia was 8lbs. 7oz. at 40 weeks & 5 days...we will see!!!

37 week update

Today I am 37 weeks and 1 day pregnant. I had my check up with the doctor and it appears that Zachariah is content where he is and plans on staying in there a bit longer! I am about 1 cm dialated and that is about all there is to say about that. Everything is great...Sarah's blood pressure, Sarah's weight, baby's heartbeat. I'm not measuring bigger than expected; however, since Olivia was 8lbs. 7 oz. the doctor has referd me to have another ultrasound so they can get an idea of how much Zachariah might weight. That will be tomorrow around 2:30 :)

Children's Room

Olivia Scarlett and Zachariah Luke will be sharing a room. So, I had been tossing around several ideas wanting to use a lot of what I already had but not have it be too "girly"! This week Ben's mom and my mom came to visit, and I love what we came up with! Each child has a unique blanket (thanks Mamaw and Maw Maw!) and we found that a paint color I already had went with both and created a very classy look! Just a few things that will be a little different... Olivia's blanket is being completed and her bed will have a dust ruffle, Zachariah will have a yellow or white sheet on his bed as well as pictures in the frame under his initials,

and there will be a black cushion on the rocker :)

Baby Update & Family Pic :)

We are now at 35 weeks! Just 5 Weeks to the due date, if Sarah makes it that far! Things are going great. We had a check up today and everything is right on schedule. No progress towards delivery but that is a good thing for a couple more weeks :) Our little boy is growing and moving all the time and his heart rate was in the 150s. Olivia loves the "baby" and will hug and kiss Mommy's belly and even likes to cuddle with it in the evenings...it's very sweet!

34 1/2 Weeks!

Just 5 1/2 weeks to go! Here Sarah is right after a fabulous massage!

Right now we are having a wonderful visit with our cousins! Uncle Thomas, Aunt Jenny, Rebekah and Rachel are here for a visit! Yesterday the Mommies enjoyed massages, lunch out and some nice shopping (Goodwill and Craigslist!) The guys had a Daddy day and the girls had a great time at the playground and hanging out! Today the Daddies are fishing and playing and it is Mommy day :) So be looking for pictures 'cause we'll be putting them on!

July 3rd Fireworks

Fireworks Spectacular!
Our Stars and Stripes Spectacular was held on July 3rd and it was awesome! The festival and fireworks are about a mile from our house so we packed up the stroller and headed there on foot. The weather was perfect and the fireworks were great! Olivia enjoyed them, wasn't a bit scared and even oood, aaahd and clapped with the crowd!
